 KalmAid is designed for nervous and anxious dogs and cats. Stress related conditions such as storm, separation from the master, alien environment, travel, veterinarian visit, or loud events such as fireworks. KalmAid soothing supplement can also be used to cope with long-term behavioral problems. 
 
 KalmAid contains L-tryptophan and green tea extract. Green tea is a source of L-theanine and in combination with L-tryptophan they supply essential amino acids that help stimulate serotonin production. Serotonin plays an important role in maintaining peace and relaxation in animals. KalmAid also contains thiamine (vitamin B1). The deficiency of this key vitamin has been associated with nerve disorders.

    KalmAid calming supplement is recommended for dogs (puppies) and cats that may be affected:

    • anxiety from separation
    • foreign environment
      weaning of puppies from mothers
    • storm, lightning, firework
    • traveling
    • behavioral problems
    • it helps to address longer-term behavioral problems
      unwanted or stubborn behavior (long-term)
    • visit to the vet

  • Feeding Recommendations

    All pets are individual, requirements may vary. We recommend testing to determine the amount needed.

    <5 kg - 5 ml daily
    5 - 10 kg - 10 ml daily
    10 - 20 kg - 15 ml daily
    20 - 30 kg - 20 ml daily
    Above 30 kg - 25 ml daily

     

    For short-term use put 1-2 hours before the “anxiety event”. Income may increase if necessary in individual cases. For a single stress event likely to cause fear or anxiety, one double amount appropriate to the particular weight of the animals is administered, preferably one hour before the desired effect. This can be repeated up to three times a day if necessary.

     

    For long-term management of behavioral problems, give half of the indicated amount per day.

  • Composition of the product and its ingredients

    Composition for 5 ml liquid:

     

    green tea extract 15 mg, amino acids: L-tryptophan (250 mg)
    Ingredients: vitamin B3 (niacin) (3 mg), vitamin B1 (thiamine) (0.6 mg), vitamin B6 (0.05 mg).
